EDUCATION
As a Los Lunas Public Schools administrator, I understand the importance of a strong public school system. Our students deserve schools that prioritize reading, writing, math, and science. Ensuring our students have access to a quality education, it is also imperative that we embrace real school choice, giving both parents and students options when deciding where and what they are learning.
CRIME
New Mexico continues to rank as one of the most dangerous states in the country. Our community feels the impacts of soft-on-crime legislation that trickles in from the metro. Criminals should be held accountable; we need to increase penalties for violent crime and keep violent criminals in jail while awaiting trial.
ECONOMY
Our strong, commonsense conservative leadership has brought major economic investments into our community, but the state government is too big and our small businesses are over-regulated. We need less government regulation, a simpler tax code, and an attractive business environment for small and large businesses to start, relocate, and/or expand in New Mexico.
PROTECTING FREEDOM
The Democrat Party has gone too far to the left. They're policies continue to attack the rights of New Mexicans. We need leaders who are not afraid to stand up for what is right, even when it is not popular. New Mexicans deserve the freedom that was afforded to them by our Constitution and the promise of limited government and unlimited opportunity.
